What is Quillly? It is one account with three products: Content + Analytics, Analytics and Directory Submission. This page shows what each one includes, how they fit together, and which parts run on your own domain.
The three products#
You can hold one product, two or all three on the same account. Each one opens its own menus in the dashboard, and buying another product adds menus without taking any away.
Content + Analytics#
A subscription for publishing on your own site. You connect the AI you already use (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another client) over MCP, the Model Context Protocol. Your AI writes, and Quillly scores, publishes and hosts.
Content: Blog, Docs, Changelog and News, written in one editor. Site pages tracks the pages you already have from your sitemap; you do not write those in Quillly.
Where it publishes: your own domain at a path such as
/blog, a Quillly subdomain such asacme.quillly.com, or straight into WordPress, Ghost, Webflow, Shopify or a webhook.SEO: every page gets a score out of 100. When your AI publishes, Quillly refuses a page below your site's minimum, which is 85 unless you change it.
Search engines: publishing notifies eight of them: Google through Search Console once you connect it, and Bing, Yandex and the others through IndexNow.
Research: keyword data, SERP checks and competitor gaps, paid for with research credits.
Analytics: included. Pages Quillly hosts carry the tag already, and their events never count against your allowance.
On Pro, your own AI does the writing. The Autopilot plans add an agent that Quillly runs for you on a schedule.
Analytics#
A subscription for measuring a site you run elsewhere, sized by events a month. You add one script tag and get goals, funnels, visitor journeys, visits from AI answers and crawler traffic, with Search Console and Bing connected.
It does not include publishing, hosting, research credits or the agent, so those menus stay hidden. You work in Analytics and Websites.
Directory Submission#
A one-time order for one website, never a subscription. Quillly's submission agent lists your site on hand-checked directories, highest Domain Rating first, using the details in your submission kit. Every live link is recorded in your dashboard.
Before you can order, your submission kit must be complete and the "Featured on" badge strip must be live on your landing page. The Domain Rating menu stays open even without a subscription, so you can buy listings on their own.
How the products fit together#
One login, one dashboard. Everything sits under the same account, and your menus are the sum of what you bought.
Content + Analytics already includes analytics. You do not need an Analytics plan as well.
Directory Submission works alone or next to either subscription. You order it for one website at a time.
Only Content + Analytics has a free trial. New accounts get 14 days of Pro with no card; Analytics and Directory Submission start when you pay.
What is Quillly used for?#
Quillly is for founders, marketers and developers who want more search traffic to their own website. A team that wants its AI to research, write and publish picks Content + Analytics. A site that only needs privacy-first numbers picks Analytics, and a founder who needs authority for a site they already run orders Directory Submission.
What runs on your domain and what runs on quillly.com#
On your domain. Quillly renders your pages and your reverse proxy serves them under your path, /blog by default. The URLs and the search credit stay yours. Next to the pages, Quillly serves a sitemap, an RSS feed, an llms.txt file and a .md copy of your posts and docs for AI tools.
On a Quillly subdomain. The same pages live at acme.quillly.com and need no proxy. You can move to your own domain later.
In your own platform. When you publish into WordPress, Ghost, Webflow, Shopify or a webhook, the post lives on that platform. You write and score it in Quillly, and publishing sends it there.
On quillly.com. The dashboard, the editor, research, the Autopilot agent, analytics reports and the submission agent all run here. Your AI connects to the MCP server at quillly.com/api/mcp.
Quillly does not host your whole website. It serves the sections it publishes (blog, docs, changelog and news) and only tracks your other pages.
Note
If your trial or plan ends, pages Quillly serves keep working for 7 days. After that they pause until you subscribe again, and they come back at the same URLs.
Common questions#
Do I need my own AI subscription?#
Not to use Quillly: you can write in the editor yourself. On Pro, AI writing comes from the AI you connect over MCP. The Autopilot plans add Quillly's own agent, which writes on the schedule you set and then publishes or waits for your approval.
Can I start without a domain?#
Yes. Pick a Quillly subdomain such as acme.quillly.com during onboarding and your first post is live straight away. You can switch to your own domain later from the website's settings.
Is Directory Submission part of my plan?#
No. The Domain Rating menu, with the directory catalog and your submission kit, is open to every account. Having Quillly's agent submit your site is a separate one-time order for each website, whatever plan you are on.
