The DR guarantee

The DR guarantee is the Domain Rating target that comes with a Directory Submission order when your site starts at DR 20 or below. This page explains who gets a target, how it is set, when Quillly measures it, and what you can choose if it is missed.
Who gets a DR guarantee#
Your site's Ahrefs Domain Rating on the day you order decides it. Quillly reads it once a day, and until it has a reading the order button says Waiting on your DR.
DR 0 to 20. The order carries a target, shown in the order dialog before you pay.
Above DR 20. The order carries no target. The dialog says, for example, Your site is at DR 34 — no DR target, because at that level Domain Rating moves on editorial links rather than directory listings. You can still order, and you still get every listing and its badge.
Refresh orders. Instant sync and the free scheduled sync carry no guarantee.
How the target is set#
The target is a Domain Rating to reach, not a number of points to gain. It depends on where your site starts, in Ahrefs Domain Rating:

The order dialog shows the promise as DR 12 → DR 20, with a line such as Sites starting where yours does typically land DR 24–28 — DR 20 is what we commit to. The range is what Quillly expects. The target is what it owes you.
When fewer directories are still open for your site than the full target usually takes, the order commits to a matching share of the climb instead. For example, a site at DR 12 with 60 directories left gets a target of DR 17, and the dialog says 60 listings carry a share of the climb. The full DR 20 target takes about 100.
When your DR is measured#
The clock starts when your order completes, not when you pay. At that moment the measurement date is set 60 days out, and it does not move. The order card shows it, for example DR 20 guaranteed — measured on 21 Nov 2026.
Until then Quillly reads your DR every day. The first reading at or above the target keeps the guarantee for good, even if Ahrefs lowers the number afterwards. The card then reads DR 20 reached — guarantee kept.
If the target is missed#
If no reading reaches the target by the measurement date, Quillly emails you, for example acme.com: we missed DR 20 — your refund or our work. Its Choose what happens next button opens the order, where the card reads DR 20 missed — it is your call.
You have two choices:
Keep working on it. Quillly keeps submitting to further directories at no extra cost until your site reaches the target. This is also what happens if you choose nothing, and it does not expire.
Refund. The button shows the amount, which is what you actually paid for this order. Click it, then confirm with Yes, refund me.
The refund is open for 30 days after the measurement date. After that the card reads DR 20 missed — the work continues, because the refund lapses and the work does not.
Note
A refund does not take anything down. Your listings stay live and their badges keep working. The work on that order stops, and the money goes back to the card you paid with.
When an order carries no refund#
Three things take the refund off the table. The keep-working promise stays in every case.
You already had a guarantee refund. There is one per account. A later order still carries its target, and the order dialog says This order carries no refund before you pay.
The badge strip was missing too often. Quillly checks your home page daily in the 60 days after the order completes. If the strip was found on fewer than 80% of those checks, the order cannot be refunded. Days Quillly could not read your page don't count against you, and the rule only applies once there are at least 14 readings.
The site moved domains. Moving the website to a different domain after you order ends the refund, because the listings point at the domain you ordered for.
The card names the reason and the dates under No refund on this order, so you can check them.
Warning
Keep the badge strip on your home page for the whole measurement window. The "Featured on" badge page shows how to add it and pass the daily check.
Common questions#
What if my DR drops after reaching the target?#
The guarantee stays kept. Reaching the target on any daily reading up to the measurement date is enough, whatever Ahrefs shows later.
Does the measurement date move if some listings arrive late?#
No. It is fixed when the order completes, and a listing that lands afterwards does not push it back.
Can I get a DR guarantee above DR 20?#
No. Above DR 20 the order is sold without a target, and the order dialog explains why before you pay.
